Hi, I keep my coupons organized by month and then week of expiration.
ReplyDeleteThen, I check the grocery store ads for sale items. That is when I try to use my coupons the most. Please enter me in your drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

I don't think a lot of people know that you can use a manufactures coupon with a store coupon at both Target and Walgreens. For those of use in the land of no doubles this is a huge way to save a lot using coupons.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
I try to buy or trade for coupons I use and then wait for a sale where I can take the best advantage of the deals.

I save my coupons to use with walgreen instant coupons when they are having a sale
ReplyDeleteI save my coupons until just the right deal. If it's not something I need, I hold them until I can get them free or almost free. Otherwise I don't buy.
ReplyDeleteI put all my fast food/restaurant coupons in a pencil box and leave it in the car. That way we always have them on us when we're out and hungry.

I use my coupons for sale items and in stores that offer double coupons. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI don't use coupons much anymore since they're normally for prepared foods & we eat mostly made from scratch whole foods, but I used to go through my coupons WITH the sale ads each week.
ReplyDeleteTo avoid having to dig through my purse to find a coupon in the store, I mark the item on my grocery list with a * if I have a coupon & then write how much the coupon is for.
ReplyDeleteEx. Frosted Flakes $2 *$1 (yes, I did recently get them for $1 a box which I was very excited about)
I use a calculator to keep within my budget so knowing exactly how much an item is going to cost is essential.
Thanks for the opportunity,
Beth

i store all my coupons in a little folder that fits into my purse so i always have them when i need them.
ReplyDeletejayme[dot]bouwens@yahoo[dot]com
I like to use my coupons at drugstores (like CVS and rite aid) when an item is on sale, but if the same item is on sale at the food store, I'll use it there were I get double coupons. Better chance that the item will be free...or close to it.
ReplyDeleteI look for coupons online like save.com or save.ca for household products. This is a new hint for me actually! Is this contest open to Canadians?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I love CVS points, and always have my cupon book in my purse.
ReplyDeleteI make note of when they have expired, and always shop early in the moring (that's not a coupon hint, it's just that I beat the crowds..less people!)

Think of coupons as cash. You may be more motivated to use them and save money.
ReplyDeletestefani[at]mommyenterprises[dot]com
I keep my coupons organized in a holder and then before I go shopping, I write my list on an old envelope I got in the mail and put the coupons I am going to use in the envelope.
ReplyDeletechrissoolee(at)yahoo(dot)com
Use coupons when the item is at its rock-bottom price.

ii keep all my coupons in my purse so that way i am never at the store without them!!

For me, the key to using coupons is organization. I sort by category and expiration date. I keep coupons in an organizer in my car so they are always handy. Thanks. TRigell at aol dot com

My best coupon tip, live in an area that has double coupons! I don't anymore and it is maddening! Seriously, organization is really important, keeping all of your coupons a together and accesssible and weeding out the expired ones in a timely manner makes them easier to use when it comes time to shop.

After receiving some great coupons after emailing a comment to a juice company my family likes, I tried (politely!) requesting coupons from a few other brands we buy frequently. Many never replied, or said sorry, we don't do that, but a few sent me several coupons.
